AUGreat location canât believe the tent doesnât have fly wire screens the flies are terrible and it destroys the trip being locked inside and canât see view thatâs the point of going up there disappointed a $100 fix hasnât been carried out surely youâve had other complaints about the flies
CAThe view is amazing! The tent is set up really nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good shower. The pool was chilly but sets a nice vibe for the space. The staff arranged a sunrise jeep tour to the volcano, lava and hot springs. The staff working at the resort was very friendly and helpful.
While I enjoyed my stay, I was a bit relieved to leave, for 2 reasons. #1 is the flies, which is a problem everywhere in Kintamani. They get in the way of enjoying the view, because you want to close your tent and then you canât see it. And the only place to eat your meals is at your room - this means you are frantically trying to eat quickly as the flies swarm. I think the fly problem is somewhat seasonal (we stayed mid-April) so depending on the time of year they may not bother you. The other major problem is your choices for food. Their menu is limited to start and then they are out of half the things. There also isnât really anywhere nearby to eat if you donât have transportation (except Super Chicken (fried chicken ) which was decent). So for these reasons, I would recommend this place for a stay, but only for 1 night. After your morning volcano trip itâs best to move on. Also I should mention 1 more minor thing and thatâs that it was fairly noisy at night with music and karaoke in the valley. It didnât bother us and we slept great but if youâre a lighter sleeper itâs not ideal.
AUStayed 2 amazing nights. This place is not near anything so you will be here for total relaxation. This is not hard as I could have stared at My Batur all day, which I I did from my private plunge pool, Deck chair or bed. You have basic facilities but itâs all you need. A simple yet very tasty breakfast is included. Staff are lovely and will do what they can to help. This place is definitely an experience as you will get a stunning sunrise, watch the tracking lights go up the mountain and look at the below farms. Please note that is you have trouble with stairs then you will struggle with going down to the camp from the road. Loved my time so much.
DEBeautiful Camp with a stunning view of Mt.Batur. Thanks to Izun for the great service!

DEThe view is amazing and the tent looks very cozy. Anjas, the person who is at the camp 24/7 was more than welcoming. He remembered our food choices and was always very accommodating and friendly. The food was also great, the vegetarian options a little limited. We chose the camp because we were planning to to do the sunrise hike of Mt Batur. The host was kind enough to offer us a package of pickup, guide and breakfast on Mt Batur which was absolutely amazing and I would recommend anyone who visits to do the tour. We also visited to hot springs after which were ok. After our trip, the host offered to take us to our next hotel for a reasonable price, as there are no Grab or Gojek cars in the area.
Iâm going to start with some points that I think could be improved about the camp. 1. Cleanliness - The area beneath the bed didnât look like it had ever been cleaned. The bathroom floor had what looked like rust stains on the floor and overall wasnât the cleanest to begin with. The most annoying part about the bathroom wasnât the cleanliness, it was the water faucet in the sink. It was positioned in a way (too close to the sink) that made it almost impossible to wash your hands without water accumulating behind the faucet which would then naturally find its way to the floor. As a result, there was hardly any time when the floor in front of the bathroom wasnât wet, which meant we started wearing slippers in the bathroom and didnât feel comfortable in the bathroom. Not ideal. The photos were taken at the end of our stay, so disregard any hair and dirt but they show the stains and the general condition of the bathroom well. 2. While, like I mentioned, Anjas was wonderful in any aspect. It would have helped dramatically if anyone at the camp spoke English. Anjas always had Google Translate open and that way we could communicate most of the time but having an English-speaker at the property would have dramatically simplified everything at the beginning and would have caused less frustration at the start. It got better the longer we stayed but I still wanted to mention it. The only one who speaks English is the boss and he isnât around much. The next points depend on the visitorsâ idea of a vacation. Nevertheless, I would have found it fair if the following information was provided by the host. The camp is really far away from anything. Thereâs no supermarket, no convenient store, no restaurants, nothing in any walkable proximity. To quote our Grab driver âWhere are you going?!â. Thereâs also no way of renting a scooter near the camp or from the host.
GBIncredible views! Very friendly staff though didnât speak much English. Room and pool very clean. The views are amazing and we would still recommend to visit however a few things djd ruin the stay.
30 min drive from most areas we visited/restaurants and the centre. one of the reasons we booked was for the Floating Breakfast but when we asked for it we were told it was not possible to do it! Such a shame as I even messaged on WhatsApp before visiting to check they did it. Also very noisy on our first night. The family next door had a child making noise until late. Also karaoke/music from a place nearby with music until 12am. Ruined our first night!
