"Fabulous and highly recommended"

Lovelly experience, the host fiona was amazing and couldn’t do enough, room was spotless and Lovelly tea valuing facilities and treats. Plus my taxi didn’t make it to take me to the train station but it wasn’t a problem for fiona thx

Fiona was a fabulous host and Merchant House is a beautiful location for the ferry. I'd highly recommend Merchant House for great hospitality.

"Exceptional"

A thoroughly friendly place. So handy for the ferry terminals. Our room was a good size, comfortable with a great view over the Loch. We had dinner and breakfast and they were both excellent and good value. The people running the place could not have been friendlier. A very relaxing stay. I would not hesitate to book again.

The en suite was a bit small but it wasn't a problem.

Fiona is amazing, she gave us a lovely warm friendly welcome. Her food was excellent and the lady in bar was lovely. It was so nice to have such a warm lovely stay from someone who was so passionate about what they are doing Thank you Fiona

"Perfectly quaint B&B"

A perfectly quaint B&B right on the water with amazing views. Fiona is a wonderful and accommodating hostess, the rooms are cozy, and her fish & chips are incredible! I highly recommend them as the best I’ve had in the UK. The town is tiny with no services outside the B&B, and transportation is extremely limited with taxis impossible to get so plan accordingly.

We ordered an evening meal which was superb and the packed breakfast was excellent value. The location could not be better for the zLarne ferry. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

A slightly small bathroom
