Stratford House Inn

Easy to get to, close to the main road of town. Staff were kind and understanding.

The room had black mold in the caulking around the tub. The tub had a huge crack in the side of it. Paint and tile was chipping in many places. Calling the facility is very difficult as staff reports they sometimes “get (there) later in the day”.

Didn't know there was breakfast. Found a dead spider in our room. It was very cool (A.C) wich was nice considering how hot it was

Bath tub could be upgraded. Make sure there are no dead bugs.

So the room and space was decent. The room smelled clean. The air conditioner worked great especially with how hot it was.

The toilet did not flush very well, making us nervous about using for anything other than a #1 of you know what i mean. I went to grab a towel for my shower and the towel for the floor along with 2 bath towels looked like they had been washed with a pen or something. The other 2 bath towels did even look like they had been washed. If they were stained dirty then through them out!!! Luckily i had a towel of my own!! There was not a good seal around the door so light came in around it. The mattress was very stiff and uncomfortable!! I had to use 4 pillows to get any kind of decent sleep.
