AnNam Stay TOYONAKA

Staying here felt like visiting kind, welcoming relatives in Japan. While the listing describes it as an apartment with shared amenities, it’s actually a private space located on the upper floor of a traditional family home. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, but manageable, and they added to the unique, homey feel of the experience. The space upstairs was quiet, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The home was adorned with beautiful cultural and religious items that created a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. I found them deeply moving and respectful of the host family’s heritage and beliefs. What truly made this stay special were the hosts. They were warm, gracious, and incredibly thoughtful—always making sure I felt comfortable while also giving me space to relax. I felt like I was being welcomed into someone’s home, not just staying in a rental. Breakfast was waiting for me and my children on the table. Amazing! If you’re looking for an authentic and peaceful experience in Japan that feels more like staying with family than in a hotel, this is a wonderful choice. A small note for future guests: The home does not have an elevator, and the stairs to the guest space are narrow and steep. It’s something to keep in mind if you have mobility concerns, but if that’s not an issue, this place is a peaceful and heartwarming gem.

There was nothing to like because I didn't stay there. The room was double booked and I was moved to a different AnNam Stay location. I didn't find out about the change until I was already on my way to Japan.

Nice hosts Like the surroundings

Low ceilings - if you are tall then you have to watch your head when you walk thru rooms

The stay here was absolutely delightful! I chose the location because it’s such an easy walk to the airport (I had an early morning flight), but now I’m hoping to return again whenever I’m in Osaka for any reason. The hosts were wonderful to talk with and so kind. Really, I was so comfortable here.
