Hotel Steger-Dellai

The location was tucked away in a small forest up in the Seiser Alm plateau. Peaceful and beautiful with an abundance of snowy hikes, cross country and alpine skiing from the front door. The hotel is modern traditional, not too fancy and showy but a perfect blend of the natural beauty surrounding it. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the service from the wonderful staff was what made the hotel and restaurant really special. We loved it so much we extended our stay and will definitely return.

Nothing to dislike

Nice nature , but the road to the hotel is very steep. For older people very steep and when snow slipery. To get to the bus you have to walk down on this steep road for about 300 mtrs. We saw different older people fell down.

There were no clear sauna rules. Which was not relaxed. There was no swimmingpool.

The hotel is in a fantastic location: from the breakfast room you can see the skyline of the Sciliar beyond the meadows. The kitchen is also excellent: I love "tiramisù" (and being Italian I have eaten my fair share of these desserts) and the one I had here may have been one of the best ever. The rooms are comfortable and quite large. The spa features three dry saunas and one steam bath, together with other facilities. The staff has also been very nice. Being more or less in the middle of the plateau, the hotel is in an excellent location to access walks around the "Alpe".

Hard to plan with the road closed really just have to stay around the hotel, definitely pre-book dinner

Wonderful place - stayed here in summer season! Was very happy with the hotel staff, facilities, food, the views - space to enjoy it all.. and so many hiking tracks just outside the hotel. Hope to return next summer!
