Firrao Rooms Matera

We stayed in Matera an extra night due to limited transportation back to Bari on Sundays. Our current BnB had no availability and suggested Firrao. The Host, Mattia, met us in the Piazza and brought us to the location and our room. Very kind and accommodating. Loved the decor/wallpaper! Lovely bathroom, big shower, hot water. Mattia recommended outdoor eatery with discount walking distance toward Sassi. Firrao was a quick walk to Matera Centrale Train Station for the next morning. Although small, the room was brand new modern, equipped with coffee maker, mini fridge w/water and Coke, hot water pot, teas, cookies.

Everything was likeable for the one night we stayed.

Struttura pulita, curata ed in una posizione strategica per visitare la città senza la necessità di dover utilizzare la macchina. Host gentile e disponibile.

Great location, close to the historic city center. Parking option nearby. Modern room withe free minibar. Mattia the host was very friendly and helpful, gave us a lot of information about the city and made our stay a perfect one.

The location is really close to the historical center (about 2 minutes walking). You can park your own car in a private parking in front of the room, or in a public parking far 2 minutes from the room. The owner is really precise, kind and available. He provided me with any kind of information I needed about the self-checkin, self-checkout, car parking, where to eat something, and so on. The structure is new, and the room was big enough for two people, and it was very clean. Same for the bathroom. Some drinks were offered by the owner - water and coca-cola - that you can find into minibar. WIFI ok

Maybe a chance to have a lower price in case of a single traveller could be appreciate
