BeB Omare Agrigento

Perfect location in Agrigento to see the sites in town. We were able to walk (downhill) to the Valley of the Temples but decided to take a taxi back up. Great hosts at BeB Omare! Quiet and on a side street.

The only complication is finding the BeB due to the one way street system and very limited parking on the street near the BeB. But - worth the effort as they do such a nice job making you feel welcome!

Barbara and Carmlina were gracious hostesses who welcomed us upon our arrival and who had arranged for the driver who took us there from Piazza Armarina. The breakfast, served in our room was excellent, providing many choices. Barbara even drove us to the train station on the morning of our departure.

We just stayed for one night, but it was nice. They serve you breakfast in the room.

Excellent location! Slightly off the main avenue which made nights very peaceful for sleeping after a full day. The room itself was spacious and clean with a very large shower with exceptional water pressure. The outdoor patio dining experience for breakfast is a delight. You can pick your breakfast, either sweet or savory and the time you want to eat the night before. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. They went out of their way to make sure your stay was a pleasant one. They were truly happy to help and be there to point you in the right direction to enjoy the city’s sights and sounds. They even took care of the parking garage fee for when you left this amazing property.

Like a lot of European construction that Air B&Bs utilize, the walls air thin and if you had a neighbor in an adjoining room you can hear them and they can hear you.

We were very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and our hosts were charming, even when they had to come back because we couldn’t find the aircon on switch 🙄 The location is perfect and we strolled everywhere, with the car safely tucked away in a garage close by. I’m not one for lengthy reviews, but I think this team deserves a thumbs up. BTW, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

Parking was tricky.

BeB Omare Agrigento is a beautifully restored property in the city center. Our host and owner, Barbara, was incredibly gracious, accommodating, and welcoming. Our rooms were comfortable, bright, clean, and nicely furnished in the local contemporary style. Breakfast is ordered the day before from a menu offering a wide variety of food, fruits, and juices—wonderfully prepared selections delivered to the rooms for a delightful self-serve breakfast. If you're driving, I recommend initially parking in the public lot at the edge of town, leaving your luggage, and walking to the BeB to check in. The BeB is situated in the city center, on a small street with limited parking. Once checked in, you can get driving directions and retrieve your car and luggage. If you're lucky, an on-street parking space might be available nearby.
