The Authentic Place

Great location, quiet, yet surrounded by bars and restaurants and 2 minutes away from bus stops that can take you all over the island for super cheap. The apartment itself was clean and modern, had everything we needed and the beds were super comfy.

The accommodation is beautiful and truly comfortable, matching the photos perfectly. The view is spectacular, and despite the occasionally crowded roads, the place maintains a peaceful vacation atmosphere. Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning, and there's a portable AC unit in the living room. The host was friendly and easy to contact whenever needed. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The shower water remained the same temperature, regardless of whether the knob was turned to hot or cold.

Photos were very representational Close to centre of everywhere on Island eg 25 min furtherest to StPauls Bay, 20 min Sandy beach on NW coast, 5 min old Valletta etc Great A/C in apt in bedrooms with remote controls Good bathrooms and showers Plenty of utensils in kitchen Comfortable sofa Lots of small items like coffee, salt, washing up liquid etc to use Balcony at front with table and chairs Roof terrace on top of building Great views of StJosephs and the marina especially when lit up at night .We were lucky to see the preparations for the local church festival the week we stayed. Free standing A/C in living room did not cool the area down sufficiently . There was a power cut in the local area which we think knocked off the lift sync and we were afraid to use the lift for 5 /7 days .that meant a hike most days twice a day up 80 marble steps to the 5th floor. When we contacted the no by text to check on the lift it had apparently been reset but noone told us . Also we were informed it was going to be checked by maintenance as it had been playing up! The bedroom on the LHS had a roller blind that was 2feet short and voile curtains so the early morning light got in each day in my room and I was awakened very early before 6am. The other bedroom had thicker longer curtains. The wooden chairs were a bit rickety and one of the supports was broken in one chair so the chair was dangerous to sit on even when the support was put back in. A parasol was definitely needed to sit on the roof top during daylight as it was scorching hot up there !😝
