Was hard to find in dark on arrival Up hill walk to get to so had to taxi often

Towels smell mold and no internet in the property even if I reset two times the router Not acceptable shampoo just cheap hand soap in bath Seems that the owners even if they create a very nice apartment they didn’t take care of small things which make sometimes the difference.

Large apartment with many facilities. Feels really homey and is nicely decorated. Large balcony. Great wifi. Communication went smoothly and a lot of info was shared.

Location is not the best, you’ll need a car (or taxi) to get around as the walk up is very steep. Kitchen wasn’t clean everywhere and cabinets are a bit old and worn. Curtains in bedroom do not cover the windows by a wide margin.

Fantastic modern and so well equipped apt with a large outside balcony/dining area. Our host Nouchka was brilliant, picking us up at the airport, showing us around the apt and helping us settle in to her wonderful place. Secure private parking was an added bonus and we were able to explore this beautiful island in our hire car (recommended). Nouchka was unable to leave us back to the airport but instead arranged for her Mum (a fantastic lady) to pick us up instead.

Location of apt meant it was difficult (but not impossible ) to access supermarket, bars etc on foot. But because we had a hire car this really wasn't an issue for us.

Great location near the airport. Comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Owner was accessible and helpful. Good to have a pool on site: it is just down one flight of stairs and overlooks the water. There was nobody using it when we visited. Good sized balcony with full dining set. Easy 15 minute walk to Carrefour and the Hilton Hotel (although a bit of a steep climb for half the walk back to the apartment!). Bus to town also just a few minutes walk away.

The Papeete, Tahiti City Lodge Apartments are simply WONDERFULL!! I would highly recommend them for two reasons. Firstly, the accommodations are really nice. Our unit was well equipped and nicely decorated and so incredibly clean and spotless. It’s located on a hillside that overlooks the shipping port. We arrived on a cruise ship in the early morning. After checking in, we could see our ship in the distance from both our spacious balcony and the property’s shared community infinity pool. Secondly, the people that operate the Apartments are FANTASTIC!! They met us near the peir after we disembarked the ship and transferred us to the Apartment. They then rented us a vehicle for the afternoon so we could go out for dinner and to the local grocery. The following morning, they shuttled us back to near the pier to hook up with our day long Island Tour and then again to the airport that evening to catch our flight home all at very reasonable prices. They went out of their way to make us comfortable in a place we were unfamiliar with. We would defiantly stay there again and rate them 12 on a scale of 10 if we could.

Unfortunately, due to its location, it’s a challenge to walk to local eateries or a grocery store. The Apartments, however, have a nice vehicle that they will agree to rent you at a reasonable cost.
