only fault was not having a oven or sink in the accommodation and having to walk to shower block

The location and very quiet. Nice lodges.

The toilet was outside but I don’t mind that as it was still nice

The toilet/shower was not in the lodge, it was a separate room you walked up to in the garden. The shower you had to keep pressing to keep the water going.No running water at all was in the lodge, any washing of pots had to be done in a sink up the garden. The beds were ridiculous, my mother in law had a single bed, she turned over, fell out and hit her head on the bedside table, she ended up sleeping on the sofa. The double bed was even worse, my partner and I had to sleep on our sides it was so small, he ended up sleeping on the sofa too. The sofa was comfy :) we left after the first night. The slabs were uneven to get to the toilet. There was 2 lodges in someone's back garden. Once bitten twice shy.

Location, cleanliness

The shower/toilet/sink been down the garden was a bit different but ok

The lodge was spotless, lovely and quiet. Ideal location for Fantasy Island

Not a problem for us, but there is no running water so you have to wash pots at an outdoor sink.

Plenty of space for us 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Spotlessly clean. Close to fantasy island (10 mins walk) check in was very easy and very nice people. Having the bathroom separate was not a issue at all the bathroom is very large and again very clean. We will definitely want to return here.

Met Michelle on arrival, she was lovely, explained where everything and said if I needed anything to knock on her door. Lodge was clean and spacious. Iv read others complaining/concerned the toilet/shower being outside or down a dark path but the path was well lit and I actually found that part quite fun as did the children. My children felt safe enough to go to the toilet by themselves even after dark. Read others concerns there isnt any washing facilities for washing plates etc apart from outside but again I had no issues, I cleaned everything as and when I needed to.

Nothing. Lovely getaway from busy mundane life, was sad to leave. Will be back next year, hopefully for longer :-)

Quiet and relaxing but close enough to the hustle and bustle only a 10 minute walk to fantasy island
