Accomodation was perfect, and a perfect host (Thereze). We were only there for one night (Sunday) and ate an evening meal at Ellie's on Main, which was buzzing! A great vibe with a lot of Kite Surfers after their day on the sea.

The view

Small kitchen cupboard. No mat in bathroom. Expected at least a small bar of washing soap in bathroom. Change of towels every day. Being woken by somebody drilling in the next unit early morning.

We liked the location and views from the unit. It was well equipped and decorated very nicely. Contact with the hostess was prompt and efficient. Sitting on the veranda with views to the river was fantastic. We enjoyed our meals at the restaurant as the food was fresh and tasty, plus service was friendly and fast.

The only downside to this unit was the “staircase” up to the twin beds situated in the loft area. This is really more a ladder than a staircase and should not be attempted by elderly, infirm or overweight people. We left all the teenagers’ luggage downstairs as it would have been very difficult to get even small suitcases up to the loft. Due to the resort being so close to the water, rust and decay set in quickly, so I guess that is why we had some trouble using the taps in the unit. You have to turn them and just trust the water will arrive!
