Bessho Onsen Midoriya

Amazing place. Staff were so helpful and friendly. The baths are gorgeous and everything is very easy to book and easy to get information through the hotel website. Breakfast was also amazing. Great selection of Japanese food.

Väldigt fint hotell inbäddat i naturen. Lyxigt med de privata spa som man inte behövde boka utan bara använda när dom var lediga. Rejäl traditionell japansk frukost. Mycket trevlig personal.

The photos on the listing don’t do it justice. It’s a small, well designed venue within a beautiful garden setting. The private onsens alone are worth the visit.

The listing fails to make clear that if you wish to include dinner, you need to inform the staff several days in advance. Also, travel light because rooms are tiny. If you are two people it is cramped with nowhere for even small travel bags.

お料理も美味しくて、器も素敵でした。宿の方から調度品の歴史など奥深い話が伺えました。

チェックインやドアロック、お風呂の混み具合などなど全てIT管理になるため、高齢者だけでは宿泊が難しいかなあと思いました。

Everything. Gorgeous private onsens. Common room filled with juices, teas and coffee. Staff is excellent. Japanese breakfast was phenomenal. Best place I have stayed ever. If you are wondering if you should spend the money and can, you should.

The interior of the glamping tent was a bit drippy at the front from condensation build up. Not a huge problem.
