- Very tasty and filling breakfast - Lovely and hot onsen, great variety of skincare products/soaps, massage chairs outside the bath area, never crowded - Vinegar water was tasty and refreshing after a bath - Lots of space in the room, nice view, pretty furniture, excellent range of facilities provided - Warm and attentive staff - Sake tasting was good value and very tasty - Free yukatas provided, lots of different ones to try on for women (and they were very comfortable to sleep in too) - Air conditioner worked very well as both heating and cooling

- Haunted - screeches from outside, bangs from inside, strong winds would blow into the air vents and make noises, creepy empty wings and corridors - Not a lot of options for dinner nearby, and the nearest convenience store is 15 minutes' walk away and doesn't do delivery - Tatami in my room was frayed in quite a lot of places - Rock bath was slightly uncomfortably hot for me and might kill a small child (lol) - Milk vending machine was slightly far from the baths (would prefer it to be next to the refresh water dispensers)
