Sunrise oasis retreat

Clean & spacious. The family is extremely kind and helpful. We felt really pampered ! The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is incredible (we had the best curry since we arrived in Sri Lanka) and is taking place in the cutest of gardens. I highly recommend.

Very spacious room and bathroom, all clean and everything worked well. Also the best shower in Sri Lanka! The veranda was great to enjoy meals outside which were of an exceptional standard. The garden was attractive and very well cared for. Our host gave us immaculate attention. He was always happy to help with arrangements, washing or accompanying us on shorter local walks as a guide.

A few more shelves or similar to keep clothes in when staying for longer perhaps?

we honestly loved it. The owners are so kind and hospitable! The room was very spacious, clean and modern, the bathroom was beautiful. It is situated in jungle setting, closed to several point of interest, just by driving around we saw elephans,monkeys,peacocks,dear..and BREAKFAST was epic. Delicious pancakes,egg hoppers,fruit..wow. Great value I definitely recommend to come here ❤️

Accueil superbe des propriétaires, nourriture délicieuse, chambre propre, spacieuse et agréable. Terrasse dans un joli jardin. Nous recommandons très fortement ce logement :)

Les arrêts de bus sont à 15 minutes à pied mais cela reste assez rapide et peut se faire en tuk tuk.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage, sodass alles mit dem Bus erreichbar ist. Der Gastgeber hat uns dabei geholfen die Busse und TukTuks zu bekommen und richtig auszusteigen. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, sauber und bietet alles was man braucht. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und sehr lecker. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, zum Teil war es uns ein bisschen zu viel. Für die Anreise von Colombo kann man in der Stadt den Bus in Richtung Trincomalee nehmen, die Haltestelle hinter Habarana Junction liegt direkt an der Unterkunft.

Las fotos no engañan, pero en persona es aún mejor. La relación calidad-precio es increíble. El anfitrión es un encanto, siempre atento y con una sonrisa. La habitación nos hizo sentir como en un palacio: amplia, cómoda, con aire acondicionado y ventilador, todo impecable y cuidado con cariño. El desayuno es muy completo y muy bueno. Se nota el esfuerzo y la dedicación en cada detalle. Lo recomendamos de corazón, porque alojamientos así hacen que el viaje sea todavía más especial.

Everything about the place from check-in to check-out is exceptional. A worthy visit.

From the start, our host was so incredibly welcoming! He arranged to collect us from the train station and made us a delicious dinner when we arrived late to check in. Our daily breakfasts were divine and healthy - fresh fruit juices, an array of Sri Lankan dishes to try and coffee. Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! The room itself was impeccably clean, spacious and cool with AC and fan. Our host arranged our daily activities (but was not pushy) - with a Tuk Tuk hire to Sigiriya and safari jeep tour to Minneriya. The guides were great and it was wonderful to support local companies rather than use apps/generic tour sites. The location is great, being close to Habarana town (15 mins walk, though not advised at night due to roaming elephants) and is in a quiet area central to most areas of interest. Our host even took us to the bus station when we left and helped us catch our bus to Kandy! Please stay here if visiting Habarana and are looking to stay with the kindest hosts! 🩷
