Canggu Central Hostel

Location was good

It was awful! The room was very dirty and the facilities were not up to scratch. There was no fresh water, the only water they had was from some awful water ‘cooler’ that came out BOILING HOT. It made me ill. Staff were off putting and doors did not lock, felt very unsafe as two female travellers as two men walked into the female only room I was staying in as I was changing. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower and sink hadn’t been cleaned at all, probably not for months, the photos are misleading on the website! The photos don’t do it justice to how gross it really was. Left after 2 hours of arriving!

This place is really fun if you like to party. They have a rooftop bar where we get free dinners and play drinking games. It’s super clean and has a great atmosphere.

Nice and central and it has a bar.

The hostel felt a little cliquey and gave off love island wannabe vibes. I found it quite hard to meet people. It would be better if there were more organised events

Один из немногих хостелов где проводят мероприятия для жильцов. Персонал очень дружелюбный и приветливый. Предоставляют завтрак ( тост с сыром внутри) и ужин ( местная кухня) - готовят вкусно. Спать удобно, кровати не вызывают дискомфорта. Рядом есть 2 очень крутых ресторана, ради них я туда и приезжал, там я очень вкусно ел - один из них Zai cafe в 6 минутах пешком и второй ресторан в 10 минутах на байке где клуб атлас. До океана пешком минут 15, пляж хуже чем в семиньяк, но если пойти подальше там нормально.

Not without reason an award winner for best hostel in Asia. We had a private room in the private side house — very affordable and beautiful. The owner couple was super lovely and friendly. I stayed there for 2 days with Bali belly and still felt completely at home. The hostel is right next door and is perfect for connecting with other travelers. In the private dorm they even have 3 cats that are very cuddly — a big plus! All in all, 10/10, I can only recommend it.
