Amazing family, private room with bathroom, beautiful location with the nature.

The rooster outside my window that didn't want me to sleep. Very thin piece of foam for mattress. Not comfortable at all.

The host couldn’t have been more helpful or lovely Comfortable and clean The food was above and beyond

Nobody there on arrival (although was a last minute booking) Some of the facilities weren’t as advertised e.g mini mart/coffee house on site (however did go out to get us coffee which was really kind)

Nice Homestay located in the middle of the island. You can get everywhere in an hour and a half by motorbike. So if you want to explore it’s an awesome place to stay. Chocolate hills are also nearby. Breakfast is optional for additional cost. Personally I really liked it!

The family is really nice and welcoming. We were able to rent their car and their son drove us around to all the tourists spot, for a fair price (3500 pesos including car rental, essence and driver fee).

Bedrooms are very simple, the shower consists of a bucket, so it’s not for you if you are looking for comfort. It’s also a bit far in the country, but it’s worth it if you look for an experience outside the tourist’s path.

We stay one night when visiting the chocolate hills I recommend to stay one night in the area and in the homestay The owner are very very kind

Spacy room decorated to green color. Kind stuff. They gave us a free banana. Nice environment with a lot of plants.

The road to get there was muddy after the rain

We had a wonderful stay here! The family are super friendly and were also able to organise a moped rental for us. A moped is really practical to visit the local sights. Whilst we didn't eat here during our two night stay it is possible. The room is new, clean and comfortable, everything is in fact. There is a fan, chairs, clothes rail, eating area outside, hot and cold drinking water. Much better than a shower on a hot day is the 'mandi' which is a traditional ladle and bucket for 'showering'. There is also a sink and bum gun. It was a really enjoyable stay and the family epitomises kindness. Remember how much this room costs and you will appreciate even more what you are getting!
