Give directions on unlocking front door. Lift handle up. Patio was advertised but not available. Could add books on area, games, cards.
NOLocation is wonderful. Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, in the quiet village of Aberdour, and just 5 minutes walk to the station with train direct to Edinburgh. We loved the seaview from the the living room and terrace. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout, and very comfortable to stay in.
The kitchen could have been a little better equipped with more dishes and utensils for cooking. Great to have a dishwasher and a washer/dryer though. The less agile members of the party struggled a bit with the high dining table.
NZThe views are amazing and it was great being close to the beach. There was a small welcome hamper which was a lovely touch.
Nothing we didn’t like. If we really had to pick something, perhaps the beds could have been made up a bit nicer? And the wifi code could be a little clearer, we had trouble reading it as it was faded. No big deal though, as otherwise everything was perfect!
USThe layout was good. The view from the balcony was great. It was different for us not having a top sheet but I have read that’s pretty standard other than the U.S.
Nothing that we didn’t like really. Maybe a couple more dish towels but that isn’t that big a deal, we mainly used paper towels.

Parking could be an issue if you are outside your lines. Neighbours got a bit arsey.
GBThe place was beautiful with great sea views and could see Edinburgh castle on a clear day. Upstairs ceiling is low but this adds to the quirkiness of the place. Train into Edinburgh easy and cheap and the beach is a stone throw away. Great communication from host so all in all great break.
USLove the small town of Aberdour. Very convenient access to bus and train to Edinburgh. Beautiful coastal views.
