Nickels Garden Villas

The location was perfect for me. The host was helpful in getting and finding all I need. Thank you for sharing your beautiful villa with me and you will definitely be seeing me again.

Beautiful comfortable home with a/c in room. Very clean and neat. Owner gave clear instructions on how to enter home and allowed me to check in early. Will highly recommend.

The journey from airport to the villa was very short and quick. Finding the villa was also very easy, check in was super and no hassle. Entering the villa you know this place is very clean and well kept, you could smell the cleanliness, if you know you know. The sofa was very big and the beds were very comfortable, they come fully recommended by myself and the kids. The bathroom is very very clean and I am big on areas in a space being clean. the outside space was very quiet and relaxing on the senses. There were plenty for the kids to do so that was a plus. The host made our stay so easy, Andrew ensured all our needs were catered to and he wa a listening ear. I will definitely stay here everything I am in Jamaica 🇯🇲

This is the perfect place to come to when you want to unwind after working long hours and saving for vacation. The staff were wonderful and made my stay that much better. I would recommend staying here 100%

The villa was fine aside from the construction happening throughout our day, directly behind the room, and gum stuck in the bed head pointed out our toddler. But most of all- the host. The host was very rude and dismissive. Hard to like anything about the property with a host like that.

I had attached pictures that would speak for themselves, but site did not approve them due to the language in them from the host as 1 reason. The host told me to go eat waste (explicit) when I shared what I had requested from booking after the host started accusing me. I also reviewed this same post on Google (images available on that review) highlighting that I’ve blurred the links to protect our MINOR children and car plates for our public safety. The host decided to respond with the ring share links for the whole world to see our children and family movement. You can also find the host’s condescending responses under lower rating reviews. DISCLAIMER: The host has audio recording along with the ring share but doesn’t disclose this on the invoice- just video surveillance. So they just have recordings of your communications- breach of privacy. Thankfully the neighbours had loud music going that could blur some of our conversations and allow us some level of privacy in the ring share links the host publicized. My reservation was cancelled on the 2nd of 3 days at this location. I got the notification at around 4am, and responded as soon as I saw it, a little later in the morning. Andrew informed me that my booking was cancelled due to a “bookkeeping error”, but that the rest of my stay would not be affected. I said no problem. Then I realized that the reason posted for the cancellation was “invalid credit card information”. Now that there implicates MY character and reflects on MY profile with Booking- for which I’ve been using for reservations for some years now and have a good relationship with. I asked Andrew to look into this error, as I didn’t appreciate the chosen reason, as my payment had already gone through. He made me pay through PayPal (never had to do this in all my years with Booking) and it even accumulated a $7 US processing fee that was not on my total from booking. Communication from booking to check out from the host was immaculate. All the information you will need for your stay and after stay is provided seamlessly. The community is a middle class gated community that has its own police station inside the gates, which is something I have never seen before, this gives an extra level of security. The community is very clean and quiet. You can see that there is sense of community togetherness. There is a lake and a children’s playground in the community as you make your way to the villa. Upon arrival, there are parking spaces for up to 4 cars on the property, which is really nice for groups. Check in was a breeze, I used my unique code to log on to the WiFi and to enter. This is where you will be amazed, upon opening the door of the villa, the pictures does it no justice. It is so beautiful and chic, like home but better, the aroma of the home tell you this place is very clean, even tiles seem to have a glossy look. The living room has a sofa set that can fit up to 6 persons and even has a bible for readers. The tv comes with Netflix, cable and local tv. The kitchen has all the things you would need on vacation, a very big refrigerator, a 6 burner stove and oven, microwave, dining table, a lot of cupboard space, kettle, Keurig coffee maker, toaster and much more. The bedroom is a delight, it gives you the feeling of somewhere to just unwind and rest after a short or long trip and just take a long nap. Very well staged and not crowds. The AC blows cold and the Nickels Garden Villas branded blankets are of a very high quality, I have to give them a thumbs up for that. The bathroom is ultra modern and the amenities given are top tier items that you would find in a 4 star hotel, that was a very good touch. The towels are of a very high quality. The hot water very nice and the lighted LED mirror and blow dryer are a very nice touch. The neighbours were very friendly and helpful. They gave recommendations and Jamaican snacks 😁

First, we really enjoyed that it was in a gated community. I personally enjoyed the porch area. It was nice to go out in the morning and sit in the peace of quiet and fresh air. Collectively my family and I enjoyed the aesthetics of the place. It was nicely decorated in comfort. My boys especially loved the comfort of their beds and the TVs during their downtime. (They made sure that I added that part) Nickels .. Villas was such a sweet hidden away place to call home while we were on holiday. Though you do have neighbors, there is still a balanced seclusion as they stay to themselves. You can open the door (minding the mosquito’s and flies) let in the fresh air, while playing some relaxing music. It has super convenient amenities; smart house capabilities(Alexa) A.C, microwave, coffee maker etc (You will need to get coffee: k-cups) and a camera outside on the property. I do not think anyone would regret staying at Nickels Gardens. We don’t regret it and will definitely be returning with opportunity.

I want to preface … these aren’t necessarily things I “didn’t like” about the property but will submit so that the next visitors aren’t “surprised.” (We didn’t mind as much per general understanding.) There is a little wear and tear on the house from lots of use-from visitors for example, loose faucets in the bathroom and kitchen as well as the toilet seat. We also didn’t have any EXTRA towels or sheets handy in case we needed some during our stay. (And/or It would have been nice to have a mini washing powder/liquid to wash laundry.) This is not a big deal but I understand this is a consideration for others. So I’d treat it more like a heads up. Also if you don’t already know this, the roads in Jamiaca can be rather bumpy-including leading up to your stay. So be prepared. Lastly, mosquitoes and flies will waste no time getting in take lots of bug spray/wipes.
