Samadhi Nature Resort

The owner was really helpfull about what to do in the area. She wanted us to feel at home during our stay. The 2 breakfast were really good. The view from the balcony and the nature around were amazing.

The beds were a little hard for us.

Locatie dichtbij Sigiriya en alle bezienswaardigheden, maar niet middenin de drukte. Prachtige tuin met dieren. Wel nog steeds aan de weg, maar voor ons niet storend. Super lieve eigenaresse. Maakt heerlijk kaneelthee uit eigen tuin. Lekker ontbijt. Het zijn basic kamers, maar absoluut prima en schoon.

Samantha is a really lovely host and very welcoming, breakfast was incredible and so much food as well! From start to finish it was a lovely stay.

De eigenaresse is ontzettend lief en weet veel over de omgeving. Ze maakt heerlijk ontbijt iedere ochtend met lekkere kaneel thee uit eigen tuin. De kamers zijn basic, maar in een mooie groene tuin waar je eekhoorntjes en zelfs 2 reuze eekhoorns kunt zien, ook apen en vogels komen geregeld voorbij. De locatie ligt wel naast een weg, maar buiten de drukte van Ella (alles wel nog heel dichtbij).

Het was basic maar echt prima.

Staying at Samadhi Nature Resort was a truly memorable experience. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and disconnect from busy life. The gardens, birds, and fresh air make it feel like a hidden paradise. What made the stay especially special was the wonderful host, Samantha. She welcomed us warmly and treated us like family. Her cooking was absolutely delicious – every meal was fresh, homemade, and full of authentic Sri Lankan flavors. Her hospitality and kindness made the whole experience unforgettable. If you are looking for a calm place close to nature with genuine hospitality, Samadhi Nature Resort is simply perfect.

The thing that really stands out at this accommodation is the host. She is so kind and friendly and offered us tips on where to go and what time the train was coming across the 9 arch bridge. Her breakfast were also brilliant and sje kept us well fed with more food than we could eat!

Breakfast was excellent, the owner was extremely nice and helpful, great location next to trails to Little Adam's Peak and the bridge. Very quiet.

It was a perfect location, near everything you’d want to see in Ella but tucked away off the main road. Samantha was a joy to meet, her passion for the plants and wildlife really came across and she’s very friendly.
