Sadly I arrived very late and had to leave early but even in the dark this place was impressive in architecture and I still do not know how it is possible to get it this spotless clean in the desert. Even though Iarrived more than an hour after sunset, I was greeted super friendly. I wanted to stay a bit longer but when the sunrise started could not resist getting on the road. Breakfast starts at 7 and ending up in Deadvlei at noon would have been too hot eben in winter. The villa itself has got big windows in every room, a big shower and a tub for two, a huge kitchen (fridge has got a seperate freezer section and not just the small ice section inside) and spreads over several levels. You can park right in front of your villa and the parking spot has got shade. My regret was not staying for more than one night to relax and take in this landscape.

It is not really accessible for people in wheelchairs or with strollers/little children because of the different levels. There is a ramp to the kitchen level but it is so steep that even with luggage it is not functional. There is a very low window in the toilet without curtains so the people in the villa next to you can watch you and there is nothing to prevent that. You could still enjoy the nice views if the lower part of that window was frosted so you do not feel so exposed. Even though everything looks like it is made for romantic hide-away days, the bed has got two seperate matresses. The road between the accomodations and reception isn't great but okay if taken really slow. But as you can see: it is all complaining on a really high level. I loved it.

I have no words to describe how wonderful our stay was. The place is definitely one of the best stays in our trip around Namibia! The owners were fantastic, super friendly, the place is wonderful, with a perfect view of the valley around it!

The staff and especially the hostess were great. The food was among the best we had in Namibia. I liked that the hosts showed respect for their staff. It was fun to experience a hot water bottle in our beds which actually worked to keep us warm

The hiking trail could be better marked and the shower looked like it needed some work. The road to get there is death-defying.

The accommodation was absolutely outstanding. We loved the styling, the roominess, and all appointments. it is a place you have to see and experience.
