Apartments Casa Ivona

The studio was perfect, very clean and the location to the beach, restaurants etc was fantastic. Dana was helpful with tips on where to find the laundromat, supermarket and for the ferry to Venice on our departure. The studio is up 2 flights of steep, narrow stairs, so probably not suitable if you have large suitcases and/or mobility issues.

The stairs are a killer at the end of the day and it was hot too. The aircon was great but we couldn’t adjust the direction of the air, so couldn’t sleep with it on as it was straight onto our heads. That was a shame because it was very hot during the night.

I had a lovely stay at Casa Ivona. The owner is incredibly helpful and kind and even though her English is limited, there is another lady that you can communicate with any time to solve any questions through WhatsApp. The apartment is as shown in the photos, and there are toiletries, coffee, and anything you may need for your stay provided in the apartment. They even provide you with a blender, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and hair straighteners! I stayed for 1 week and they even gave me linen to change bedsheets, towels and more toilet paper. The decoration is as shown in the photos as well as the walk-in shower. The apartment is right in the centre of Old Town, very near a lovely beach and right in the middle of the beautiful streets of Rovinj. The last night there was an issue with the electricity supplier and the owner kindly made a compensation for it. I am very happy with my overall stay and I recommend it if this is what you are looking for :)

It is important to mention that it is an interior flat, if you are searching for a view/ big windows and open air, this is probably something different to that. In case you are travelling with big luggage, bare in mind that taxis can get as close as 5-10min walk to the apartment as it is right in the Old Town. If this is not an issue for you, you will love your stay at Apartments Ivona.

A wonderful location and comfortable space, decorated and equipped to feel like home. The owner of the property is a lovely, generous host and made sure I had a comfortable stay.

On my last night there was some drilling until 11pm but I think that was just a special circumstance.

This is a perfect location to stay in the heart of the old town. Nicely decorated with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom; it is great value for money (we stayed in May). The owner is such a lovely lady.

Location was great. Close to everything. Friendly host and the apartment had a lot of character.

The access could be difficult for some people. Very steep stairs to the attic and a bit of a climb up the hill to get to the apartment.

We have never been in such a beautiful and well equipped apartment as Casa Ivona. Host Dana is so kind and friendly and we really enjoyed every minute of our stay.

There is nothing to dislike, everything was perfect.

The apartment is located in the heart of the old town and just a few minutes walk to waterfront and cathedral. We had access to clothesline from the window of the apartment which is handy when frequenting the Adriatic waters.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a very aged building. The steps weren’t an issue for us but could be for some.

Old town location was perfect once we found the property. Our host was welcoming and helpful and her personal touches in the apartment made us feel at home.
