Happy Airfield Studio

This accommodation is very good. It does what it says on the tin - a studio apartment with bed, sofa, shower and microwave, situated above an airfield cafe. The location was perfect, bed comfortable, very clean microwave (toaster and kettle) and powerful shower with towels provided. It does need some minor maintenance - the shower doors don't close fully, so I had to shower away from the screen to stop water going on the floor and some touch up paint needed on kitchen back wall - didn't affect my stay but could be easily fixed.

Needs hooks on the back of the door to hang a damp towel. In my opinion it would be great if a proper dishcloth was provided, so dishes can be cleaned properly. I wanted to self cater due to food allergies.

The studio is very quiet and peaceful. It is warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. There was great communication from the owner.

Please note that the cafe below doesn't open until 9.30am during the week, so if you need to leave early, bring something for breakfast.

The studio was the perfect place to stay while visiting my sister, it was very clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for a stay, great for breakfast at the happy cafe as well. We would definitely stay again .

Loved watching the small planes land and take off. Great Value for money.
