Stayed 1 night in a luxury tent with private bathroom. Hot shower, comfy bed - didn’t expect that in the desert. Camel ride at sunset + dinner under stars was perfect. Quiet, clean, and private. Would book again.

Authentic luxury camp fue la mezcla perfecta entre autenticidad y comodidad. Nuestra jaima de lujo era muy espaciosa: cama de verdad, alfombras, zona para sentarse y un baño privado completo con agua caliente. Sin tener que compartir con otros huéspedes, que para nosotros fue clave. Llegamos en camello al atardecer, cenamos a la luz de faroles y luego tambores bereberes bajo un cielo lleno de estrellas. Más tarde pasamos de la música y nos quedamos en nuestra jaima. Era silencio total, oscuridad absoluta y la Vía Láctea era increíble. Lo mejor fue ver el amanecer sobre las dunas desde nuestra terraza. El personal nos tenía el té listo cuando volvimos. Si quieres vivir el desierto sin renunciar a la privacidad ni a un baño decente, reserva la opción de lujo. No te arrepentirás.

We stayed at [Camp Name] in a luxury tent with a full private bathroom and it made all the difference. Proper bed with thick blankets, hot shower, flushing toilet, sink - basically a hotel room in the dunes. Arrived by camel at sunset, then dinner cooked over fire with music under the stars. After, we went straight to our tent. It stayed cool at night with the thick canvas, and the terrace was perfect for stargazing without other people around. Woke up early, watched sunrise from right outside our tent, then had a solid breakfast before heading back. No shared facilities, no stress. If you want the desert experience but still need privacy and comfort, this is it. Highly recommend.

Bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was clean with hot shower + proper drainage. Didn’t have to think about it once. At night it got cool so blankets were perfect. The experience still felt authentic though. Camel ride to camp, dinner cooked over fire, Berber music + dancing. Difference is after the fun you go back to your own private tent + bathroom instead of shared tents. Staff were professional but warm. They handled everything - luggage on camels, setup, breakdown. We just showed up and enjoyed. Woke up to sunrise over the dunes right from our tent terrace.

Just spent 2 nights at this camp and wow, Merzouga delivered. We arrived at sunset and the camel trek to camp was pure magic - 45min riding dunes with the sky turning orange. Camp itself: Private tent with real bed,clean private bathroom, hot shower. Dinner was traditional tagine + live Berber music around the fire. Then the best part - zero light pollution. Saw the Milky Way for the first time in my life. Woke up at 5am for sunrise on the dunes and it was worth losing sleep. Staff treated us like family. If you want “glamping” not rough camping, this is it. 100% worth the extra dirhams.

The tent was massive - proper bed with quality linens, and a private bathroom with hot water + toiletries. Felt like a desert boutique hotel. No shared facilities, no walking to toilets at night in the cold. What stood out was the service. Staff helped with luggage on camels, set up our tent with candles before dinner, and checked if we needed anything without being pushy. Dinner was 3-course under lanterns, then they took us to a private dune away from other groups for stargazing. Woke up at sunrise, stepped out of our tent and had the whole dune to ourselves. Coffee brought to the terrace while we watched the sky change colors. If you want the Sahara experience without sacrificing comfort, this camp nails it. Worth every dirham for the privacy.
