Galaxy Lakeview House

Really lovely accommodation. Clean, comfortable bed and fantastic view!

The location and the views were exceptional. There were plenty of things to do, and some great restaurants.

The view.

We stayed here for 3 nights expecting an “entire holiday home” as advertised in the listing, but this was not the case. The property is actually a divided dwelling with another unit directly adjacent. There is only a sliding door separating the spaces, and during our stay the neighbouring unit was occupied. We could clearly hear the other guests (including children), which impacted our privacy and overall experience. On arrival, it was unclear whether we were at the correct property due to another vehicle parked at the front. We were then asked by someone in the adjacent unit not to park near the garage, which added to the confusion given the listing suggested the entire home was included. Access to our space was via a rear entrance, requiring us to carry luggage up a ramp, which was also not clearly communicated in the listing. We raised these concerns during our stay and requested a partial refund, but this was declined. While Booking.com provided a small goodwill credit, the host did not offer any resolution. The view is nice, but overall the experience did not match what was advertised, and we left feeling disappointed. Not worth the price.

The view was absolutely beautiful, the location was great so quick and easy to get into town. The apartment was very well stocked with all you would possibly need!
