Great apartment close to the city center, but still quite. Friendly hosts who gave me all the information I needed. A perfect place to stay when visiting basingstoke.

The location is ideal as it is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Basingstoke. The keys are easy to collect as Stacey gave me clear instructions - I just sometimes have difficulty with working key safes as each one has its own process/ system. Stacey was extremely helpful and very friendly. I loved the bed and found the mattress extremely comfortable. I slept very well. It is a quiet street despite being so close to the centre of town. It is good to have on site parking...As I hadn't visited Basingstoke before I parked in Eastrop Way and walked to find the property. This is only a few minutes away... Chequers Rd is a one way street , so this seemed a sensible precaution as it would be easy to miss the apartment. The photo on the web site shows the front of the house but parking for 13 Chequers Rd is actually off Goat Lane, ( which happily is a two way street!) at the back of the house. Stacey had warned me about this and it was very useful information to have in advance. The fob to the barrier for the car park is also in the key safe.

I can't think of anything that would have been better...Perhaps it could be made clearer on the web site re how to gain access to the car park but as I explained, Stacey sent me details.
