Its location close to Wetherby racecourse, and next to The Castle Inn which was handy for our evening meal. There is also a shop and bistro underneath the apartment all run by the same people. The owner was very helpful and all the staff were friendly. The included breakfast was from a choice of freshly made hot sandwiches from the shop which you can eat in the bistro or take up to the apartment if you don’t want to cook for yourself. The apartment was warm and well equipped and as two couples we appreciated the two bathrooms.

It’s a shame the apartment doesn’t have a sitting room, only a kitchen diner with a television. We were only there for one evening so we didn’t mind watching tv sat at the table.

All the rooms were spacious, well-presented and immaculately clean. The kitchen was well equipped and breakfast from the deli downstairs was tasty. The owners were very friendly and were keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The accommodation was remarkably good value for our party of six adults.

If we had been staying longer than two nights we would have appreciated a proper living room instead of one of the three large double bedrooms. One of the matresses was rather too soft for our preference.

Lovely location and property.

Wasn’t straightforward getting access to the property. Got a parking ticket for the less than 10 mins we took to get bags into the flat. Suggest everyone logs in with the pub. Kitchen didn’t have an oven and only two hobs and no saucepans.

Location too noisy: a very busy road with late night & very early morning traffic. Saturday night was exceptionally noisy until after midnight with loud music from Castle Inn next door.

The whole experience was amazing. The people who owned it where fantastic and done so much for us. And the restaurant was fantastic. Food was lovely some of the best food we ever had and the staff were great done so much for us
