let us check in late and leave our bags in a secure room after we checked out. staff were also lovely.

we booked a double private room and then they said it wasn’t available and we would have to pay more as the only one they had had air con which usually costs more.

Everything,the staff were exceptional and catered for your every need,food etc cheap,this is an excellent budget Guest House,shower was perfect whatever heat you wanted,my advice to any travelers,that is if you’re happy with a small room and small Shower/toilet,for the price,You can’t beat this place,it’s not Luxury but a great cheap experience

We had to extend and the owner was very relaxed although we didn’t pay straight away

Our room was very dirty and we expected more for the price we paid as it was not that cheap, it was the worst toilet we have had on our 4 month travel through Asia, and the view is definitely not as “grand” as advertised

It was possible to rent a motorbike on-site, and after they adjusted the brakes at my request, I got the best-condition motorbike I had rented so far during my four-month trip in Asia.

There was no blanket, and the fan couldn’t be directed toward the inner part of the bed, even though it was very hot. There was construction work going on in or next to the hotel (it wasn’t really clear), and the noise started early in the morning. We got a very small room, and there was a sewer smell coming from the tiny toilet-shower.

Close to bus station. Staff pointed out a good restaurant. Staff took my suitcase up and down the stairs. It was inexpensive and a place to sleep for early morning departure on bus nearby. I was willing to pay for room with air conditioner but it had a strong bathroom/drain smell. My room had a fan.

I got a lot of bites during the night. Don't know if bed bugs or flying insects. No towel provided. Very hard to communicate with staff but we sorted my requests except a towel which he didn't understand. I would have rated higher except for the inchy bites.

Clean safe cosy room, friendly staff and host,I'm adding 15 days more 🙂
