Great cottage with everything you need and more!

Beautifully clean and homely. Our family loved our stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Coachmans Cottage. As soon as we arrived we felt at home and Clair has put so much thought and care into this gorgeous place, it really is a gem. The beds are really comfortable and we slept like tops. The shower was excellent too. The whole place feels homely and has a lovely energy. The Cottage is in a peaceful location and there is an electric gate to the driveway, and a second electric gate to the garden and accommodation. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and sitting outside in the lovely garden, as did our Frenchie Alfie. The location is great for visiting Port Sunlight and the Rock Ferry beach and promenade. We ate at the dog friendly Refreshment Rooms a couple of times as it is right by the waterfront and had a lovely stroll afterwards looking across at Liverpool. Clair is an exceptional host and such a lovely person. We will definitely be staying here again.

The breakfast was non existant very dissappointing. It was clean enough and tidy just not what we expected.

We thought it was a guest house but instead had bunk beds with tiny holes to get into the bed not for adults very closterphobic more like for children. Not what was advertised. Very poor and dissappointing. Nothing near it either to get supplies we had to find somewhere else at a cost we could have done without. Would like a refund.

The facilities and style of the property are exceptional. Our dog loved the garden and his tail was wagging the whole time. Beds were soft and comfortable. Location was ideal as it is a short walk to the train station and there was also a park and ride close by too. There was also on site secure parking.

Beautiful cottage on a lovely leafy road. It had everything you need and the decor was gorgeous. Clair was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back 😊

So beautiful, clean and fresh, the beds are so comfy, games to play with the kids, water, pop and milk in the fridge. Tea , coffee and sugar provided. The shower was amazing. We had the best stay and are booking again for our 3rd visit. Thankyou x

Clair's property is one of the nicest holiday rentals we've ever stayed at. The location was excellent for our needs and the internal decor was outstanding. The thought and detail that she has put into the design of the property - especially the beautiful kitchen area - isn't something you see every day. This was our last stop on an eight-day road trip that took in Wales and Cornwall. I honestly had the best night's sleep at Clair's property. She is an excellent host and we would have no hesitation in returning. Highly recommended.

Can't fault anything - all was really good

Good location, train station near to get around. Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Enclosed garden, good for our dog and park nearby. Tea, coffee and good selection of drinks provided.

Expecting oven, but fine with microwave and air fryer, otherwise very well equipped.

What a gem! We were met by Claire who went out of her way to help us settle in and made us very welcome. This little cottage is beautifully decorated. Many reviews mention the beds but we found they were both doubles and incredibly comfy We were a group of three adults, Claire provided an extra bed and the 3 of us slept very well It is off the beaten track, no noise at night, yet it’s within walking distance of Rock Ferry train station (Merseyrail) which can take you straight to Liverpool, Chester or to Hamilton Square if you wanted to use the Mersey Ferry. It was also an excellent place for our two little dogs
