Castle Brae Apartment

I don’t know where to start! Myself and my family had a fantastic stay at Castle Brae. From start to finish everything was perfect. We arrived to a gorgeously presented holiday home, tastefully Scottish decor. The house was immaculate. I am very particular and there wasn’t anything I could fault and I did check! The accommodation catered for everything. I even washed out clothes as it had fabric softener! I was delighted as I had a 4 year old with me. They also had little games and toys for him to play with. It was a beautiful sunny day so we enjoyed the well Maintained outdoor area. It’s a walled garden to the rear so very safe and private. There is a front garden too that you can see the castle from 😳 The beds were so comfy! I had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Woke up refreshed and ready for our next adventure. Stirling Gin distillery is across the road and Stirling Castle is literally a stone throw! We walked to town at night which took less than 5 mins ( with a toddler ) there is loads to see and do near by. There is a safari park 5 miles away and we left the apartment for there. I can’t believe we only got a night! Would have stayed a week. Thanks for your lovely hospitality and yummy shortbread. We will be back 100% You were a very kind host always prompt when replying to my messages. I appreciate that.

Comfortable beds, well equipped, comfortable. Ease of use for local attractions

All of the air fresheners, not good for asthmatics, and all different. Struggled for parking. Shower was over a bath, couldn't use it

The location was good. The place was very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had cookies!

I had to wear extra clothing and socks, hat in the 1st bedroom because it was so cold. The heater in the room wasn’t working so I even left the bedroom door open so the heater would circulate. I don’t run cold and I’m from Alaska so trust me when I say it was cold. The shower had no soap, shampoo or conditioner like the other apartments we’ve stayed in do. The tub doesn’t drain very fast so you’re standing in water as you shower. Neighbors upstairs sounded like they were having a clogging party but I put on noise canceling headphones and that worked. Parking is on the street on a very steep hill-there was nothing around so we had to park in the village area. This is not the owners fault-just something for someone to know.

It was so clean, comfortable and cosy. Had evrything you could need and want. Really friendly host and in constant contact to ensure everything was ok. Lovely and warm. Close to anything you need, train station, pubs, restaurants, opposite Stirling Castle, Distillery, groceries. We loved it, it was perfect for our needs. Will definitely for sure will stay there again. Everyone very friendly, great pub at the bottom of the road, oldest in Stirling, excellent friendly staff! Thank you 😊
