Vintage RV Creekside Nature Retreat near Ojai next to Swim Holes Hike

Beautiful area on a creek. RV had full kitchen. Outside private area with chairs. Very restful.

Older RV—we thought it was an apartment. Small tight shower with smelly water. Would have been great if not for the shower size and water smell.

Liked the idea of an RV and liked the layout. There were many games and the bed was comfortable.

Did not like the bathroom smell of sewer. It seeped out from bathroom when used. After Showering I felt like I smelled like it too. Did not like the long narrow driveway you had to back out to a highway. It’s dangerous at night. It’s September and the creek was covered with vegetation and water level was very low. Don’t forget your bug spray. Hornets were buzzing around the seating area and RV entrance along with mosquitos galore.

Quiet, secluded, perfect space to get away. Had just what I needed.

I loved the quiet, secluded location, and I felt the trailer was stocked with everything I needed for a peaceful stay.

I was totally fine with it, but it was tricky finding ways to keep the unit smelling good due to the composting toilet. If I’m able to come back, I’ll probably bring a fan and essential oil sprays to freshen the air. It wouldn’t deter me from returning.

It was nice and cozy. Host was very friendly and helpful. Very quiet and pieceful. Very close to ojai. Would definitely stay there again.

Was tailgated by a man on a motorcycle when we arrived, and pulled up next to us and questioned us what we were doing there and what we wanted. Because he lived there, We tried explaining to him we were looking for an address. But he just kept staring staring at us and made us feel very uncomfortable. Turned out to be the next door neighbor.

The property was not only clean but very peaceful. I loved it.

The shower was unsteady to be in, when you stepped in, it was unleveled and wobbly. Also, slightly difficult/unsafe, coming off the road into the place, but you get more familiar as you come and go. I don’t think that’s something that can be changed.
