I really appreciate that upon arrival our group was greeted with Sardinian chips and beer. It's a very nice gesture. I really appreciate it and thank you again :)

The apartment complex is built and decorated, clearly an architect and interior designer have been involved. Everything is top notch, with eye for detail, marble everywhere and an oak floor. The location is central, that is great for the views and pictures, keep in mind most things happen downtown, that is steep downhill so lots of free sport! I thought it would have 2 separated spaces; the apartment is 1 open space. The city Cagliari is wonderful, the Cagliari; amazing people. The main reason I booked this apartment was to enjoy a quiet stay, as two reviewers mentioned it was very silent. However, if you're sensitive to noise, I would not recommend it. The floors and ceilings are made of wood and are not insulated to Northern European standards. You’ll hear footsteps, furniture being moved, and music—it drove me nuts. Furthermore, I sleep with open window, there will be street noise, to me its Italians having chit chat, allowing for a perfect sleep. Finally, 2 general observations, for all apartments we hired. Cleanliness is often an issue. Before you hang your towel over a door, you’ll probably want to give it a wipe. In Spada the bathroom had lots of black stains in corners and edges. Property management is rarely handled by the owners themselves. Instead, it's an employee who is more focused on logistics and payment than hospitality. You’ll be nagged about your exact arrival time, asked to send a photo of your passport, and required to leave cash on the table for the tourist tax. You won't get a receipt for this. So sorry I will not pay for that. Why not charge for electricity, cable, or trash service while you're at it?

We absolutely loved our stay! This was the best host I have ever dealt with—extremely friendly and communicative. The apartment was perfect, everything was top-notch. The location is quite high up, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that there is an elevator! It’s located at the "Regina Elena (Unione Sarda)" stop, which can be easily reached by local public transport. It’s a pity we didn’t know about this in advance. Hopefully, this information will be added to the listing and mentioned in the greeting message, as it would make things much easier for future guests.
