Village Hotel Swansea

Awful

Room was fab and the hotel was great.

The air con wasn't working, they provided a desk fan, but the room was too hot to sleep in. I needed another stay for 3rd July, but probs will try another hotel unless their air con on working by this date.

The Village Hotel Swansea & Booking.com team accepted bookings, knowing air conditioning in multiple rooms was inoperable. Obviously, this wouldn't normally be a problem, but the temperature was in excess of 30 degrees. The hotel room was sold as having fully working air conditioning. We cancelled the booking as it was a danger to our toddlers' well-being to be placed in such a hot room. I left The Village Hotel Swansea with written confirmation stating a full refund would be issued, only to find after we left that both Booking.com and The Village Hotel Swansea are no longer keeping to their statement, and we were left with a long, unplanned journey home, along with no refund. There are clear grounds within the Customer Rights Act that this situation impacts, which we are pursuing. Terrible service from both parties. I would avoid using Booking.com at all costs.

I didn't like anything nor the fact that they ripped me off and walking.com do not have a complaints telephone number

I would like to they said they had hair conditioning it was broke there was no apology known nothing when I was told to ring for a refund they fogged me off blaming go booking.com this is the worst group of hotels I have ever seen to their customers and it just wasn't me the full of the hotel was complaining everybody

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially at reception & restaurant.

Pool was q good, location ok

Lock on window dodgy which worried me, asked reception to have a look but he was busy and think he forgot The air con didn't work either No phone in room meant I had to go downstairs every time I had a question No menu or guide or anything in the room either Also disappointed Starbucks was shut as the website hadn't mentioned this was the case The price increased in the 10 mins I took to book

Quirkiness. Comfortable bed. Great air conditioning.

Dinner, not good at all. Only one chocolate between two guests, first night only. No replenishment of coffee pods for second night. That’s just penny-pinching!

We were there before because it’s in a good location

Ac was not working we mentioned it to the staff but they were not helpful and said they can’t do anything about it
