Breakfast was a "continental" buffet but with choice to pay for full breakfast if one wished. Very wide choice of juices, cereals, fruit, yogurt, spreads and pastries & lovely scones as well as toast and tea and coffee. The cafe also served evening meals. The a la carte menus had several choices and the two meals we had were delicious. The Fish and chips, green salad and Pizza were really good and well presented. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Front desk and housekeeping staff were also very helpful, welcoming and friendly. It made our stay in Rotorua a very pleasant and memorable time. Location is great for access and parking.

A very minor thing - in driving round the hotel to the car park there is a low kerb on right hand side that needs a 2metre (plastic) pole to delineate the edge. From some cars' driver position this kerb cannot be seen and is potentially a hazard that risks scraping the wheel. (Not good for rental car damages!)
