Viva beach Apartments in Alliance palace

Location of the hotel is great. Hotel seems to be clean and well preped.

2 Russian ladies met us and let us in (before arrival all communication was via Whatapp) - very strange way of getting into the hotel... Is this another Russian scheme?

Clean spacious apartment with a helpful host. Nice view of the sea with ease of access. Very close to numerous bus routes to the centre. Washing machine excellent with plenty of space on secure balcony to dry the clothes. Highly recommend.

Great view from the 16th floor, you are right in the buzz of Batumi. Only a few steps to the beach.

We had to fix a time for check-in and check-out, which made the day a little stressful. Communication is machine-like and not friendly. The place is quite far from the centre (but there is a bus stop right in front of the house). The view is great, but only from the balcony, which is right next to the air condition's outlet so not very comfortable, and your neighbours are really close (only a little separating glass wall to the next balconies). But what really annoyed us is that there is only cash payment - we had to pay 180 lari and the person greeting us claimed she could not change 200 lari. We had to remind her three times to get our change, and she got really nasty when we confronted her.

The owner was nice and friendly, apartment was clean and in good location.

Apartment is side sea view, not full sea view. Also, very didnt like that you hear your neighbors very loudly, all the voices and etc and it was not party, just two people talking. That makes less private.

Make sure to know there are a lot of scams in batumi hotels and this one was one of them where I initially booked for the alliance hotel booking but when I confirmed arrival while on my way to there , they changed the name to viva beach apartments which is same hotel building but privately owned by a host not under hotel Managment. You dont get any service for facilities in hotel and everything is paid for ( pool , cleaning , breakfast)
