Private, unique location by the fjord

Mess and rubbish outside including broken glass and faeces. Damaged doors, empty water bottles and dirty equipment in kitchen. Felt as though cabin had been used for a party. Rather empty and soulless interior and furniture wise.

The house is enormous, super clean, super well maintained, in the middle of the forest and in front of the fjord. Just perfect!

It was a beautiful big house at the fjord. While booking this house, we expected the photos were taken with a wide angle lens, because the hall and rooms seemed very big, but the house is really that big.

A bit less rain would have been nice, but we can't blame the host for it :)

The property is located in a very remote area, which was ideal to escape from a hectic working life. The size of the property was fabulous. The views outside the property was spectacular.

I think the landlord should ensure that the cleanliness is of higher standards. Property was not serviced between guests.

The cabin is very nice, minimalistic modern, and comfortable for a bigger group of people. It is a quiet place with amazing views of the Fjords from a large terrace. We have decided to spend our Xmas and NY there and it was finally a Xmas complimented with a lot of snow. Also, I need to mention the sleep we experienced there! We have never slept for so long:) The owner was super nice and was communicating during the whole stay, helping us with all our needs and wishes. A place I want to visit in summer too!

Just excellent! Perfect place and it has everything you need. Very cozy and the view from the cottage is breathtaking! Ps: You will probably need to follow the instructions on how to get to the cabin because it is not obvious. If in doubt reach out to the owners, they were quickly responding to our queries.

This location it’s a gem! Very nice landscape and a very big house with 5 bedrooms. Very friendly host. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great location, great view! The house is very spacious with modern design. It's very comfortable to live in. The deck is awesome!

The parking is a little far from the house. It's a little difficult to access the house from the road, especially with some big bags.

Location is completely stunning, the cottage is spacious with great facilities and the host was very responsive and helpful

There are over wooden 80 steps to the property - this could do with being made more visible on booking.com, as we had some arthritic limbs in our group and heavy cases! Some of the elements of the cottage weren’t as clean as they could be eg dish clothes

Amazing view, very private and spacious. It was also a good price. The owner was responsive to messages/phone calls.

There was no WiFi. This made it difficult to use the TV as well. The cabin is quite difficult to access. The parking is free, yes, but you have to walk along the road for a bit and then down steep wooden stairs. Be very careful if you have young kids. Also be aware that there are no grocery stores nearby so plan ahead. The water in the cabin is a bit yellow and comes from a river. We were not aware of this fact but clarified with the owner that the jugs of water sitting in the kitchen were okay to drink. We had a good stay but it could have been great if some small improvements were made and some of these things were clearly communicated ahead of time.
