Burnbank Glamping Pod

Nice quiet comfortable,clean location

It was compact, only negative was difficulty getting to toilet without disturbing partner through night if on inside of bed. Loved Electric Fan Otherwise no complaints x

The glamping pod was great with all the essentials you need for self-catering and without unnecessary clutter. It was neat, clean and cosy. The views from the main doors were lovely - over gardens, meadows and part of Loch Shiel to the mountains (with grazing deer in the mornings and evenings). The location was ideal for exploring Moidart, Sunart and Ardnamurchan - and further afield if you wish. The pod is beside a cluster of houses and near the road through the village but people/car traffic is very light. There is also a shop in the village for re-stocking food. The host - Jessie - was very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The host's directions were excellent but it would have been additional reassurance to have the name, e.g. Burnbank, next to the pod. The pod did heat up during the day - and it did feel safe to leave the windows open - but a bonus might be to have detachable screens that could cover open windows/doors to let the air in but keep the midges out. (To be fair, only one day was bad for midges but, as they do like to snack on me, I was wary about leaving windows open overnight.) However, these are minor 'extras' and definitely do not detract from a great place to stay.

Burnbank is a little gem, very well equipped, very comfortable and fitted out to a high standard. There is plenty of room to stash all of your stuff, and the bathroom is a good size for a pod. The cooking facilities exceeded our expectations, and the view and location are top notch.

Peaceful and quiet location next to a beautiful park/garden with many birds. Incredibly comfortable bed, functional kitchen and cosy interior. Friendly and helpful owner. Would definitely come back!
