Very nice spacious apartment close to airport. Anna, the owner was so kind to let us in earlier, so that we could leave our luggage there and also helped us in arranging our transport to the airport early in the morning. She even had prepared some delicious Greek pastries for us and a bottle of Raki and water. There were plenty of street parking slots available in the neighbourhood, so it was no problem to find some space for our rental car before returning it. The neighborhood seems very safe with a little park next door and a bus stop 10 minutes walking distance. One day there was even quite a big farmer's market in a nearby street.

Excellent location, very close to the airport, the city center, supermarkets, cafeterias and beaches, very good connection to take the highway and explore the island by car. The Owner Anna, an excellent person, very professional, friendly, concerned that nothing is missing, always available by phone. We are very happy to have found a property with a high standard owner. I highly recommend this place and I am very sure that I will return with my family to visit those places that I cannot reach due to lack of time.

However, finding the place might be a mini-adventure, as the confirmation only provides a postal code, not a specific address 🧭🔎. Do note, it's located on the second floor 🏢. If you're traveling with a lot of luggage, brace yourself for a bit of a workout 🧳💪. Unfortunately, there's no lift, so pack light if you can. The apartment itself is heavily filled with the owner's personal items 📚👚🧳. It's somewhat off-putting, as it feels like you're intruding into someone else's space rather than staying in a dedicated rental 🏠❌. Overall, for a one-night layover, it might do the trick 🛏️💤. But for longer stays or if you value comfort and privacy, you might want to consider other options 🕵️‍♂️🏡. My rating would be 3 stars out of 5 ⭐⭐⭐. Adequate for a quick rest, but falls short for a more comfortable, homely experience.

The problem is located 2 minutes away from the airport which is very convenient.

The bed in the larger room was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It literally felt like sleeping on a sheet of plywood! I slept very poorly and woke up with hip and back pain. If the floor was carpeted, I probably would have slept on the floor. Another thing that was slightly annoying was that I chose this place over others in the location because of the clothes washer. We got there and found that the washer was old and moldy in the detergent dispenser area☹️
