Everything! Stunning surroundings, very clean accommodation, warm welcome and the most friendly dogs 🐶. We also felt very safe due to security on the farm. Hope to be back next year.

Clean, convenient location

Outdoor area was not as lovely as hoped & did not fully take advantage of setting. The noise/ fans or engines from the smokehouse could be heard overnight with the windows open.

What a beautiful location, stunning views on the mountains and a really comfortabele cottage! We are definitely come back.

We were met by a member of the family who gave us the keys and an introduction to the property - she was knowledgeable, friendly and we felt really welcomed. We were also greeted by the resident dog, Sebastian, who became the highlight of our entire trip - with our daughter telling everyone about our South African Dog. The best thing about this property is the swimming pool and gardens - a mountain-fed pool tucked away in the most gorgeous gardens! The gardens are stunning, quiet and calm and we spent days lying on the lawn listening to the cascading waterfall that was feeding the pool. The animals on site (horses and dogs) were all so friendly and loving and our daughter (3 years old) had the time of her life. The property itself was clean and had all the amenities we could need. We will think about the property, and our time here, for the rest of our lifetime. It is our happy place and we feel so incredibly lucky that we happened to find it. If you are thinking of staying here... think no more, DO!

To be honest, absolutely nothing. Genuinely, this was perfect. It was clean, private, idyllic and we felt so calm, safe and at home in this little pocket of paradise - there is absolutely nothing negative we can say.

The quietness away from the town, the privacy and the stunning scenery. The facilities at the cottage and the opportunity to enjoy walks around the farm, stroke the horses and donkeys and the company of the friendly four farm dogs. The warm welcome and the 24 hour gate security.

Wow. What an amazing property! Photos don’t do it justice. Quiet, secure, breathtaking grounds and views, the friendliest farm dogs, very cosy and comfy cottage, next to the main house yet still very private, braai facilities, comfy beds, AMAZING smoked salmon!
