Chrysavgi Stone House

My room was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the blackout curtains for a restful sleep. The complimentary toiletries were high-quality, and the rainfall shower was a luxurious touch.

The house was beautiful, an old house completely renovated- large and clean bathrooms, strong a/c, spacious rooms. The outdoor patio was stunning with views of the town.

Everything was amazing just struggled finding it.

Finding the property

Spacious living room and top floor modern bathroom, 3 double bedrooms, able to accommodate up to 8 people.

Parking was a bit hard to go in and out but if you have on a smaller size car you’ll be fine.

Very pretty house in charming village

The property is rather “ a work in progress “ with most rooms need finishing , such as door to bathroom not painted and would not close properly and most electrical outlets overloaded with multiple adapters, it should be advertised that vehicle access to the property is difficult, we had 4WD and still was a struggle, also needs signposting at junction with main road. Lastly, it should be made clear in advertising that there are many steps to the property and some of these are difficult in the wet and then internally the stair to upper floor is more of an inclined ladder that would be found on a sailing yacht and has very limited headroom. The one fully completed room , the bathroom is great and has good shower

The house itself is fantastic, renovated, has thick walls and is therefore not very hot during the day; it is set on 2 floors with large spaces, 2 comfortable bedrooms (perhaps the mattress is a little hard, but this is subjective). The kitchen is well equipped, much more than others I have seen, there is everything you need and more. The air conditioners, useful in the evening, are very efficient. The part I appreciated most is the outside with the barbeque, we used it a lot in the evening to have dinners out. The location is in the middle of the town, the view is not the strong point, but it makes up for it with the tranquility and proximity of services (supermarket, taverns). George was very attentive to our needs, even if not physically present, he was always very available to answer me or make suggestions. Lastly, it's very close to one of the mosto beautiful beach (Limonari) of the Island. Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend.

The road to get there and the parking is a little difficult, but only for the first time. The steps that need to be taken to load / unload the car with your stuff.
