Gangadharam Tiny House 2BHK AC

Beautiful house and surroundings, and very clean. Hot water, high speed internet and wifi, gas stove, air conditioning, power backup, it had almost everything you could ask for!

Bathrooms are a bit small but very very clean!

The house was very cozy and comfortable. It had all the facilities necessary to make our stay pleasant. The caretaker was friendly, and the owner, despite being miles away, was easy to get in touch with.

The premises were too good for our kids and pet to enjoy. Because of heavy rain, we could spend more time in the property and enjoyed our time here. Provision for barbeque was also arranged inspite of the rain. Owner was constantly in touch with us and ensured that our stay was comfortable.

Room in the ground floor and bathrooms were a little smaller.

We had a wonderful stay at Gangadharam Tiny House, a perfect getaway surrounded by lush greenery. The serene environment, combined with well-maintained amenities, made our experience truly relaxing. As the name goes "Tiny House", it can conveniently accommodate 4 adults or a small family of 4 members. Staircase to first floor is steep and not recommended for old people or for some one with knee problem. The air-conditioned rooms are of great help to beat the summer.They have a well maintained kitchen (mini fridge, water purifier, induction stove, plates, cutleries, claypot for summer, dustbin for wet/dry separately) and washing machine (rack for drying clothes outside in the sun). The CCTV cameras are well placed for security. The dining table is mini for 2 or 3 members; the sofa in the patio and the swing are a bonus. They have a BBQ setup in the garden, a small TV in first floor, which we missed to use. A special mention goes to Vishnu, the caretakerr, who ensured our stay was comfortable and pleasant. We got home cooked and delicious breakfast, making us feel right at home. For lunch and dinner, we arranged food from outside restaurants, catering to our preferences. Last but not least, the host - Binoy, humble and supportive in all possible ways, starting from sharing the Dos' and Don'ts, WiFi setup, and other home rules. He is a seasoned host and makes sure we carry good memories.

Property is located in a very calm and serene nature .. Worth every penny you have paid... Best stay in Thalassery so far I have stayed in recent years

We loved the Gangadharam Tiny House. We stayed there while visiting the area during Theyyam, and I have to say this was the perfect place. Binoy, the host, was super responsive and we communicated well throughout our stay, both by phone and text messages. Binoy and his assistant, Vishnu, helped organize tuktuks whenever we needed to go somewhere, so visiting without a car was not a problem. It's a cool little house with two bedrooms and two full baths, one upstairs, the other downstairs, which is perfect for two couples or a family. There were just the two of us, so we used just the one on the ground floor. As the name says, it's a tiny house, but it's very well planned. There's a huge garden with a swing, and we loved just hanging out in the nature, sitting on the porch reading during the hottest hours, and listening to birdsong. On the top floor, there's a washing machine and there's a drying rack in the garden, which made it easy to wash our clothes (we were backpacking and had been on the road for a while). They offered free breakfast, but we opted out of the Kerala-style meals, and instead made our eggs on toast, which we bought in the nearby grocery shop. If you're in the area for whatever reason, or are planning to see any theyyams around Kannur, I recommend staying at the Gangadharam Tiny House. From there you can visit the Kallumthara temple (~6 km away), where you'll have the experience of a lifetime, and also the much larger Andalur Kavu (7.6 km away).
