Hostel Bajala Siargao

It was a beautiful hostel! We stayed in a private room the bed was so comfy! The staff cleaned it everyday and was so lovely! Would highly recommend

Clean, good food, laundry service, comfortable beds with privacy curtains, good atmosphere, able to rent scooters cheaply and without issue, right by the beach.

The hostel is ~5k away from General Luna. Sometimes, it is nice to be away from the main strip in a secluded area. Other times, it can be a hassle that you have to ride all the way to town. There wasn't a lot of space to hang clothes up to dry. With 6 to a hostel room that can be a problem, especially on rainy days.

Really love this place! It was a home away from home. The bed are comfortable and clean. Quiet and well maintained Hostel. Its nearby the secret beach which is really quiet if you wanna be away from the busy area of GL! and its only 8 mins drive to GL! The most thing I liked about it is the Kitchen and the Cinema Room! It’s like I was really home! I definitely recommend staying here.

honestly best stay in siargao

This place is genuinely the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s GORGEOUS and so comfortable and clean. The mattress is so deep and comfortable, they offer you a thick duvet and a thin blanket to choose. The room is perfectly cool throughout the night and the entire room is big and very clean. Stunning bathrooms too! The pool area is beautiful, it lights up at night and looks stunning. The dorms look like hotel rooms, they’re stunning. The staff are nice enough! A super comfy cinema room where you can choose what you watch and we all hung out in each night. Free beer or soft drink everyday (5:30pm-7pm) Out from the main area but a much more local spot and the drive from the main tourist area is so easy and really pretty. Also, right on the beach! You can swim in the sea and it’s super quiet, also really pretty entrance with the palm trees. If you’re looking to meet loads of people maybe choose a more social place but I still met some good friends and I wanted somewhere to chill. Amazing shared kitchen too. Couldn’t recommend more.

Maybe the pool could be kept open an hour or two later? It’s open until 8 but I personally usually come back to my hostel after that so didn’t get to use the pool at night. But still not a big issue!

Location is not convenient, the food at the hostel is overpriced and the scooter rental prices were much more expensive than at other locations.
