Hostel Bajala Siargao

I LOVED this hostel so much!! I transferred from a different one and breathed a sigh of relief and how clean and calm this location is. I stayed in the all female dorm and felt very safe the whole time, and it was a very thoughtfully designed room (stairs or very wide ladders to upper beds, secret compartments for valuables by your head, hooks and a shelf for each person). The staff was very kind and patient with me as well. The best part is that it's about a 5-7 minute moped drive from General Luna, so it's much quieter and has a private beach. It was incredibly relaxing, and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better hostel on the island for the price.

The bathroom could be a little damp and the shower tended to leak water onto the floor, but requesting a new bath mat solves the problem quickly.

Every attention to detail - a properly well run hostal with travellers’ needs in mind

It’s a 10 min ride away from general Luna cafes & restaurants, but that was fine for us as we had mopeds.

Great location in front of the beach. Clean and new facilities. The restaurant has great food.
