Leknes City Apartment

The large space, large living room and kitchen

No hot air condition, too cold in winter, or you need to prepare the firewood for wood stove in the market

Location was good a bit outside but leknes as a whole is a bit of a "spread out" town.

The cottage was so light and airy. It was very clean and well appointed. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc. it was an easy walk to the town which had a supermarket, a few cafes and restaurants and a terrific bakery. Close to lots of walks and beaches. Water pressure was great and bed was the best I have in. Norway.

Would have been nice to have had some tea bags or coffee. That said the kitchen did have a selection of spices and condiments.

The apartment needs some renovation and modernising

Very clean and spacious cabin. There is underfloor heating, so it was very warm, there are also blackout curtains for midnight sun nights. Kitchen has all supplies and washing machine is great with laundry detergent available. Key was in a lockbox so we didn't meet the host. Parking space is available right next to the house

Would be nice to have some shampoo and shower gel. Also there is a coffee machine but no coffee or tea. Another thing which surprised us was that you have to make your own bed and then remove sheets as well after the stay. As we saw this in other accommodations in Norway, it is probably common in Norway but I haven't seen it anywhere else
