The Curracloe getaway

5 min drive from the beach. Excellent location.

Quirky, lovingly designed if a bit improvised place that the owner is still working on. Well stocked with kitchen utilities (airfryer, oven, fridge with medium-sized freezer compartment) and supplies (salt, sugar, oil, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, cleaning utensils). Spacious open plan main room with kitchen/dining and lounge area. Lovely, cosy sitting area with fireplace stocked with logs, lighting materials, and coal and blankets to cuddle up in. Masterbedroom with queen bed and very small single room our son found nice and cosy. Very comfy beds and lovely surroundings and bird song in the mornings. Very dog friendly with owners' dogs on the other half of the property. Conveniently located for gorgeous Curracloe Beach and short drive to Wexford town, Heritage Park, and lots of great places around Counties Wexford and Wicklow! We'll definitely be back for a longer stay!

Loved it

As sam said it is work in progress and it was perfect us. We really enjoyed our stay with 2 children and 2 dogs. It's close to the gorgeous beachs and only a 15 minute drive to the lovely town of wexford. Definitely perfect dog friendly stay. Thank you sam. We will definitely be back.

Everything was beyond perfect, kitchen , bathroom and bedrooms were beyond well equipped with everything you might need. The host was very helpful and contact with her was very easy. Will definitely be back and would recommend.

This place is large and very comfortable, everything you would need, including coffee machine, air fryer, constant hot water to do dishes, tea coffee sugar logs for the fire and the host left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Very near the breathtaking curracloe beach, a few minutes drive away, there is also a wild bird sanctuary within a short walk. The host is a very kind and nice woman, extremely helpful, responded very quickly to any questions we had, I have to say she is an exceptionally good person and her children are a credit to her. I would stay there again, no problem, she even had an electric blanket for my bed, very thoughtful of her, the area is quite, real irish countryside, a little hidden gem a short drive from wexford town, would love to stay in the summer time but saying that we had some beautiful sunny days, I guess we were lucky as it was February.

Sam, the host, was amazing. The house was very warm and cozy, and it had everything you would need. It was close to everything, the beach, the natural reservoir... Just the perfect location for us. If we go back to Wexford we'll definitely book with her again.

Great stay, super friendly owner, really helpful super pleasant stay. Great place to get anywhere by car.the dog loved it.
