Hahei Beach Dolphin cottage

Property was absolute perfect for two people to stay a night (and we easily could have stayed many more)! Clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The host, Andy, was friendly and helpful as well!

My wife, my son, and I stayed in this cottage for one night. After we arrived, unpacked, and started preparing dinner, the host came to the property and told us that having three guests was against his policy. From the beginning, I had been open that we were a family of three, and I told him I was willing to pay an additional fee if required. Despite this, the host insisted that we could not stay unless we paid an extra NZD 100. We paid the additional NZD 100 on top of the NZD 395 room rate. No extra blanket or additional accommodation was provided. The next morning, at 9:09 a.m., the host sent a message saying, “Check out by 10 am sharp, please,” even though we were already packing our belongings and were still well within the allowed check-out time. Shortly afterward, and before the official check-out time, the host began mowing the lawn immediately next to the accommodation while we were packing and preparing to leave. This experience felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable, and I hope future guests are aware of how situations like this may be handled.

De cottage was superschoon op ongeveer 10 minuten lopen van Ha Hei. Heel erg rustige ligging. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar.
