Alexander's Apartment Carriacou

Close to shops and to the ferry terminal.

The entrance to the front of the property from the road, unsafe. Approch to front garden uninviting and belies the comfortable accomodation within. I realise this is because of the damage left by the most recent hurricane. I also realise that work has commenced to rectify the situation. However, it is off-putting when arriving at paid accommodation.

Location.. apartment nice and peaceful. Lorrain and Bernard was very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again. I wish I had booked for longer.

The bathroom was nice with hot shower. The apartment has all the necessary facilities. Good price.

The place looks a bit old and dark. The surroundings are still affected by the hurricane in 2024.

Das Apartment, inklusive Küche, hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr sauber. Das grosse Bett ist ein Highlight. Der gratis Transfer vom Flugplatz und am Schluss zur Fähre sind sehr angenehm. Ganz Carriacou ist mit dem Wiederaufbau beschäftigt, weshalb es überall Baustellen hat. Auch auf dem Gelände von Alexander. Wie diese Insel und seine Bewohner damit Hurrikan Beryl verarbeiten ist bewundernswert.

The rooms were clean. Air conditioning.

Booked a 3 bedroom apartment. Got email from booking.com the room rate was discounted. I was traveling with a colleague, they showed us to alone bedroom with one bed. The owner assumed we were a couple. The other room was rented to another couple. She did open a 3rd room after I paid extra money. No hot water. No blankets, just a cover sheet. Plastic plates and glasses.

Convenient location, pleasant staff, fully equipped kitchen.

The location is perfect for getting around Carriacou. The apartment is very comfortable, and has the amenities one might need. Sitting on the balcony in the evening, after the sun goes down, is heavenly. Mr. Alexander and Lorin are wonderfully helpful.

We had a strange and uncomfortable experience with the host, Mr. Alexander. Without our request or agreement, he came into the apartment knocking on our room door at 5:30 AM, waking us up saying it was time to catch the boat, something we never asked him to do. It felt invasive and unprofessional. Additionally, the host did not seem to know how to properly use the payment machine, which made check-in and payment awkward and inconvenient. Mrs Alexander on the other hand via phone was wonderful & helped resolve this situation . While the property itself may have had potential, Communication and boundaries need serious improvement.
