Mountain View Cottage

So comfortable--beautiful views, clean and welcoming, just perfect. Good home base for explorations up in Donegal County. Quick drive to Bundoran too. Loved walking down the country lanes and fraternizing with the sheep.

Hot tube and sauna didn't work. It was one off the reason I booked this place. Disappointed

Amazing views, very peaceful area, lovely walks and overall a very relaxing stay. The house was nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen with all you could need.

Nothing - everything was as described. Check in was easy and seamless.

We had a lovely stay. The house is well stocked in a wonderful location. We lacked nothing. The views from the window with morning coffee are indescribable. We enjoyed the sauna after a whole day in the mountains. The owner is very communicative and supportive, he always replied before arrival and during.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this house over the bank holiday weekend with friends. The location is stunning, with amazing views of the mountains and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house itself is spacious and well laid out; there were nine of us, and we were all very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, from the fully equipped kitchen to the sauna, which really made the stay special. The host was responsive, friendly, and made everything easy. I would definitely go back—and next time, I’ll stay longer!

The only very small downside was that the jacuzzi hadn’t been cleaned, so we chose not to use it—which was a pity as we were really looking forward to it—but thankfully the sauna was great and made up for it.

This place is truly tranquil getaway and tonic for the soul. It’s remote yet short drive away from many facilities essential on holidays. Peaceful, quiet and breathtaking views from every window of the house. Thoughtfully equipped and most comfortable and clean house I have stayed in. Layout allowed for all of us to share space together and each to have enough privacy and comfort on their own when needed. I find it hard to put into words how much we loved our stay. Wonderful touch of the owner/care taker to check in with us if they could be of any assistance and if all was working well. We all sincerely wished this home was our own and we are looking forward to returning.

The views from the cottage are incredible, and the location was lovely - although an interesting drive up to! Be aware of the sheep! The host was accommodating and welcoming and with offers of the hot tub and sauna facilities, there is no question whether we will return!

There isn’t anything we didn’t like

The accommodation was excelent. House was clean and fresh, very modern and comfortable. Loved the bathroom on the first floor. Stand alone bath so good. Rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. Facilities were great had all the kitchen supplies you would need, supplied games for kids and had books to read. 360 Views of mountains and lots of walks/hikes nearby. Would recommend highly. Can't wait to visit again.
