A little oasis in Tengeru. Staff friendly and helpful, the villa was clean, the food was excellent and the pool was lovely. Late check out was also appreciated.

No WiFi, no aircon, no hot water (although this was fixed just before check out). Rooms were sparse (i.e. no tv). The taxi ordered was not large enough to convey us and our baggage to the airport, despite a large taxi being requested by us at reception, which delayed departure. Also, surprised by the lack of wine to accompany the evening meal. Only one bottle of white wine available on our first night, which wasn’t replenished the next day. Ended up bringing our own bottle of wine to dinner. Overall disappointed with our stay. This was a premium price, and a treat for us, but unfortunately Tanzania Safari Lodge didn’t meet expectations therefore not good value for money.
