There was no Tv in the room

There was building work in the flat below us which was incredibly noisy and because of it we couldn’t sleep past 8am on Friday and Saturday. It was nearly impossible to even stay in or talk to each other. Nobody has warned us of this prior to our stay which is maybe fair enough, they didn’t know. Although I am sure that people in the building have been informed prior (as standard practice). We rang the host to ask for help and a solution but no one picked up then we left a message explaining the situation. The response said that it is not their concern and can’t do anything. We rang again and someone picked up and we explained that we would like to leave and rent elsewhere and that I’d need my funds back in order to do this. We went to bed late and it took me nearly 12 hours to travel here from the UK due to flight and coach trip etc. The lady said she needs to hang up because she was busy, I asked her to wait and listen to how noisy it is. She then said she will send security to kick us out if I don’t leave her alone, which was absolutely uncalled for and unacceptable. She then put the phone down on me. A few minutes later, the husband rang and threatened us that if we are to send a complaint to booking.com he will have us leave the property there and then. He first said we need to escalate with booking.com because we didn’t pay him directly and when I said ok so I will, he threatened us (which makes no sense). We remained there for the whole stay but it was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It is very sad and horrible how we were treated as customers. The moment we had a problem, we were asked to leave with no refund (???). I have recordings and videos but am unable to add them here.

The location is great, the apartment is very cozy and nice indeed. It was clean and tidy, the towels were fresh, and the linen was amazing.

The shower could have been better, there is no curtain in there. And I got cold inside the flat because you can't use A/C for longer than one hour and it wasn't enough regarding the weather
