The location is probably one of the best in town if you're looking for a central location that's within walking distance to everything. The staff is very nice and helpful - excellent. The rooms are huge....especially the upper one with the balcony. The price is amazing for what you get.

The only complaint. It's very close to Pub Street....which can be good and bad. There are some late night music places that are within hearing distance. They go very late. If you're the type of person who likes to stay out late and want a great room for a cheap price...this is the place for you. I'm into quiet...lol

Good location. No lift within the property but the stairs were easy for an able bodied person. I was on the top(2nd floor). Big spacious and clean room with rather unusual spiral staircase to the private balcony which was run down and in need of serious attention/repair. So i wouldn’t particularly recommend that room. 2-3 girls staff the Hotel who were all very nice indeed. The room i was in had both AirCon and a ceiling fan.

WiFi was erratic but there are 2 connections available so never went without. Wouldn’t put you off coming here if the price is right.

the building is in bad shape. ugly and dirty everywhere. the staff tried to short me $30 in change and then insisted that I didn’t understand the exchange rate when I noticed. I eventually went to get the correct change and paid that way. after that I didn’t feel secure at all, and I left without asking for a refund. the bathroom floor had clearly not been cleaned in a long time, and the upstairs balcony was covered with mold and filthy, and surrounded by rotting bamboo walls. there is NO rooftop view unless you’re willing to stand in mold and peer over a fence.

Near to popular destination. Value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Provide very knowledgeable advice. Would strongly recommend friend to stay. Room is bug and clean
